In churches in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Tennessee, and California, she has served in Christian education, music ministries, and church administration. Her spiritual gifts are teaching (Romans 12) and prophesy (1 Corinthians 12).

B. Graham Simpson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and her Master of Arts degrees in Management and in Business from Webster University based in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 1999, she wrote and published Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh, and in 2008 published the 21st Century Edition of the same. In 2004, she wrote and published Behold the State I’m In, an allegory that shows the principles in Behold, the Bridegroom Cometh, and in 2011, she wrote Behold the Bond, the sequel to Behold the State I’m In. In 2018, she wrote Behold Ye Writers for the Lord workbook to supplement her writing workshop, which she calls BOOKBirth.

Inspired to help other Christian writers fulfill their desire to publish their books, she set up Behold Writers Editing & Publishing Services. As the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher, she coaches writers, and edits and publishes their works, using the experiences, abilities, and skills she obtained over 20 years as a Senior Editor and Writing Advisor for a Fortune 200 corporation.
